Job Description Dishwashing – Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers Kitchen Cleanliness – Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas. Empty rubbish bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials Food Preparation – Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients Inventory Management – Assist in receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients Compliance with Health and safety – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order Qualifications No formal education is required, but an understanding of the role is required and catering/kitchen experience would be a plus Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus Strong communication and teamwork skills Additional Information For almost 20 years, for every client, in every location (whether that’s an office, stadium, cathedral or university), we have created beautiful spaces, exciting menus and friendly teams, so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve. Responsibilities

The Kitchen Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. They will also assist chefs with basic food preparation and manage kitchen inventory.
