You will play an integral part in ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the kitchen. You will ensure all cleaning duties are carried out as quickly and efficiently as possible, and will act as a support to the overall kitchen team Job Description To ensure all areas of the kitchens and service areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness, providing a clean and safe working area. To maintain all catering storage areas, ensuring they are always organised and clean. To receive, count, inspect and store goods and/or equipment as and when required. To be involved with some food preparation and service when required. Report immediately any incidents or accidents, loss, damage, unfit food, or other irregularities and take such actions as may be appropriate. Report any broken equipment to the Kitchen Leader and Managers. To ensure all legislative and government guidelines are adhered to, such as Health and Safety, Food Safety and COSHH. Perform additional duties as required to support operational requirements such as offloading deliveries and waste management.
