We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Porter to assist The Pegasus Bar and Restaurant in the day to day running of the Kitchen. As a Searcys Kitchen Porter you will play a crucial role in supporting kitchen by ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen areas, The role will be based at The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple situated on the banks of the Thames, is one of the few remaining Georgian style event halls in the City of London. Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment. Washing of dishes, cutlery etc from the restaurant. Maintain cleanliness in storage areas and ensure food safety standards are followed. Assist with waste management and recycling. To be involved in some food preparation and service. Organise and store kitchen supplies, ensuring they are readily available for use. Help with unloading deliveries and storing items appropriately. Responsible for cleaning schedule and paperwork. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is desirable but not essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work on their own and as part of a team. Good communication skills.
