As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the culinary team by ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. REQUIREMENTS

  • Flexibility to work various day shifts, including most weekends as required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of ingredients for various dishes, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and cafe, including washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils and cleaning.
  • Help with the storage and organisation of food items, ensuring proper labelling and rotation.
  • Support chefs during service by providing timely assistance as required.
  • Clean kitchen and cafe equipment and work areas regularly to uphold health and safety regulations.
  • Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain recycling practices within the kitchen.
  • Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
