Role Responsibilities
You’ll maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all kitchen areas by following established procedures each day set by the Head Chef. You’ll assist in the food preparation when required. You’ll display efficient working practices and ensure all the kitchen, utensils, cookware, crockery are properly cleaned in a timely manner.
o You’ll have a positive mentality and can-do attitude supporting the rest of the Kitchen Team with any tasks as required.
o To work the sections, ensuring that pot-wash standards are dealt with efficiently and to the best of your ability insuring the up most cleanliness at all times.
o To assist in ensuring a high level of Health Safety, cleanliness and food hygiene and to ensure that safe working practices are followed.
o To assist in the par stock ordering for cleaning equipment and chemicals.
o Be aware of COSHH regulations and use of PPE.
o Support the Head Chef with stock taking and storage of stock, including checking deliveries.
o To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.
o You must attend all Health Safety, Fire Safety and Food Safety training as directed by your Line Manager.
