ABOUT JESMOND DENE HOUSE

Jesmond Dene House is an award-winning 4 Red Star, 2 Rosette, hotel, restaurant and bar situated in a leafy suburb of Jesmond, 5 minutes from Newcastle City Centre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Carrying out basic cleaning tasks as in an efficient manner
· Collecting and washing up pots and pans.
· Cleaning crockery & cutlery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean and ready.
· Ensuring the storerooms remain organised.
· Making sure work surfaces, floors and walls are always clean and sanitised.
· Cleaning dishes manually and using the dishwasher.
· Supporting basic food preparation.
· Maintain kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations.
Candidates applying should be confident working safely in a busy kitchen environment; be able to accurately follow instructions and have strong verbal communication skills; be able to work effectively unsupervised
