Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly after use.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
  • Support the chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking when required.
  • Keep the kitchen area tidy and organised, including sweeping and mopping floors as necessary.
  • Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
