We are currently looking for a permanent Kitchen Porter to join our team. This position is part time, between 15-24 hours per week to include one day at the weekend.

This is a permanent, all year round role, with extra hours during the Summer period. The main part of your role will include:-

• Wash up crockery, cutlery, pots and pans
• Basic food preparation including washing salad, cutting/grating vegetables etc
• Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible to a high standard
• Taking food to tables and clearing/cleaning tables
• Clean food preparation areas and equipment
• Unload and check off food deliveries
• Cleaning duties in other areas of the business in periods of quiet times, usually out of season

Experience is an advantage but not a must as we are looking for someone hardworking that takes pride in their work and that will fit into our team. The successful candidate must also have a degree of flexibility in the hours and days that they work.
Cornish Coasts is a small family run campsite with a farmshop and daytime café on site. As well as catering for our guests on the campsite, the farmshop and café are open to the public all year round.
We pride ourselves on serving good quality homemade food using local produce wherever possible. Given our high standards and great food we have a steady flow of regular customers who keep us busy all year.
Rate of pay quoted is minimum salary based on age 21+ and will be determined based on age/experience and decided after you complete a satisfactory trial shift.
