SUMMARY

We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our experienced and friendly catering team. 
Working under the direction of the Head Chef, the Kitchen Porter is primarily responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of the main Kitchen production and service equipment and the cleaning of the Kitchen and Servery areas. 
While some experience in a similar role would be advantageous, full training will be provided as well as manual handling instructions / Safe Working Practice / H.C.C.P / C.O.S.H.H. We are seeking someone with high standards of order and hygiene, who works with efficiency and as a team player.
We are recruiting urgently for this position, please note this is being run as a rolling recruitment process. We will be assessing applications, shortlisting and offering interviews as the applications are received. The job will close once a candidate has been appointed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in food handling.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work.
