Job Description 🌟 Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities As a Kitchen Porter at Greenmeadow Community Farm, you’ll be a vital part of our culinary team, helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Here’s what you’ll be doing: Dishwashing Dynamo – Keep our kitchen sparkling by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment by hand or using industrial dishwashers Kitchen Cleanliness Champion – Clean and sanitise surfaces, prep areas, and countertops to the highest hygiene standards. Empty bins and manage waste responsibly Prep Assistant Extraordinaire – Support our chefs with basic food prep tasks like peeling, chopping, and slicing fresh, seasonal ingredients Inventory Sidekick – Help receive, store, and organise kitchen supplies and ingredients so everything’s in its place when needed Safety Star – Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and ensure all equipment is in good working order, supporting a safe and efficient environment Qualifications 🌟 Who You Are – What You’ll Bring to the Team We’re looking for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into the fast-paced, rewarding world of farm-based hospitality.
