Our porters keep our kitchen running smoothly with pristine attention to detail and care of all equipment and food. We are looking for a team member that loves to be a cog in the wheel of running a successful kitchen at Iowa’s no. 1 entertainment venue. Apply today. Here’s what you’d be responsible for: * Inspecting, labeling, and dating products to ensure food safety and quality, appropriately disposing of any waste * Clean and check equipment * Verifies & puts away all food orders * General cleaning duties of area and equipment Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be detail oriented and have basic math and spelling skills. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and have the ability to withstand repetitive reaching, bending, and lifting. Responsible handling of hot equipment, sharp objects, and navigating wet floors required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push a cart weighing up to 150 lbs. required. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours required.

Responsibilities

The Kitchen Porter is responsible for inspecting, labeling, and dating products to ensure food safety and quality, as well as cleaning and checking equipment. Additional duties include verifying and putting away food orders and general cleaning of the area and equipment.
