OVERVIEW:

Ragu Pasta is a fresh pasta restaurant with all of our pasta being produced in house daily.
Our menu will be simple (10-13) pasta dishes and 5 sides all authentic using the best quality Italian ingredients.
Hourly rate £11.50 plus a share of Tronc
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. You will assist the kitchen staff in food preparation and ensure a smooth operation of the kitchen. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

SKILLS:

  • Previous experience working in a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as required

Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils
  • Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, including countertops, cutting boards, and equipment
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or chopping ingredients
  • Dispose of trash and recycling properly
  • Restock supplies in the kitchen as needed
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
