Experienced full time kitchen porter required for lakeside venue on the Warwickshire/Leicestershire border. San Giovanni is a well renowned Italian restaurant and bar. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual. Experience of working within a busy kitchen setting is essential.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will be an essential part of our kitchen team, working under the head chef to assist in all areas of the kitchen. Your core skills in working quickly, maintaining cleanliness and manual work will be vital in supporting the kitchen staff. You will assist in food preparation and dishwashing tasks. Due to the nature of the job, some heavy lifting is required.
Working hours include weekends and evenings. Tips included.

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Ensure that all dishes, pots, and pans are washed promptly and efficiently.
• Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as required.
• Help with stock rotation and organisation of storage areas to ensure freshness of ingredients.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations within the kitchen at all times.
• Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by reporting any hazards or issues to management.
