The Garden Terrace Cafe located at Holt Garden Centre are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join their busy but friendly team. Working up to 40 hours per week 9am until 5pm 5 days out of 7, no evenings or split shifts, will include some weekend and bank holiday working. The Centre is closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

You will be responsible for

  • To clean designated areas including floors, counters, shelves, walls and fixtures and fittings.
  • Empty bins when requested and sweep floors.
  • To clean all equipment.
  • To assist with fruit and vegetable preparation.
  • To measure, decant, pack and seal food stuffs and ingredients.
  • To operate standard kitchen equipment for peeling, cutting, mixing and cleaning.
  • To follow all health and safety regulations.
  • To carry out Pot Wash duties this includes, loading and unloading the dishwasher, hand wash items as required and put away equipment in the correct place when dried.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Line Manager.
