The Milbank Arms is a recently renovated Grade II listed pub with luxury rooms and cottages in the village of Barningham on the North Yorkshire/County Durham boarder, located on the edge of Barningham moor and surrounded by fantastic local produce.
As a busy and well-regarded gastro pub known for our fresh, seasonal menu and friendly team atmosphere. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a hard-working and motivated Kitchen Porter to join our back-of-house team.
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and maintaining the high standards we’re known for. You’ll be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well-stocked, supporting the chefs, and ensuring all hygiene standards are met.

• Keeping all kitchen and back-of-house areas clean, tidy, and compliant with hygiene regulations
• Washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Assisting with basic food prep tasks when required
• Taking in and storing deliveries appropriately
• Ensuring waste is disposed of correctly and safely
• Supporting chefs and front-of-house staff as needed
