JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a great person to join our kitchen team. Experience is not needed as such but a great attitude and work ethic certainly is, and an interest in food and drink would certainly be a bonus.
The role would entail
- Keeping the dishwashing area clean throughout your shift
-Assisting the chefs with any tasks or food prep required .
-Being responsible for the ordering and rotation of cleaning chemicals and janitorial products.
-Assisting with taking receipt of food deliveries and supplies and storing them correctly and ensuring stock rotation so ingredient are used in the right order
-Punctuality, honesty and working as a team are key attributes

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is preferred but not essential.
  • A keen interest in culinary arts and hospitality is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.

  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
  • Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies and ingredients.
  • Support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in regular cleaning schedules to uphold hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
