IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome a full-time Kitchen Production Assistant to join our delightful and hardworking team. This is a fast-paced role for someone who is passionate about serving simple, good-quality food.
This is a full-time role working 39 hours a week and 30 hours a week.
As a Kitchen Production Assistant, you will support in producing our meals in our busy customer restaurant - including our meatballs and hot dishes! If you thrive in a fast-paced and team-focused environment, this role will allow you to experience our wonderful everyday.
Responsibilities
You will be preparing and making meals using our ovens and kitchen equipment to offer a taste of Sweden to our customers and co-workers.
The kitchen is a safety-first, fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail for all things safety as well as efficient multi-tasking to ensure IKEA remains a safe place for people to shop, work and have fun.
Preparing for the next day’s trade, as well as managing waste and working in a sustainable and cost-conscious way.
Following a cleaning schedule and making sure the cleanliness of the kitchen is to a high standard.
