  IKEA Edinburgh are looking to welcome a Kitchen Production Assistant to join our delightful and hardworking team.
  As a Kitchen Production Assistant, you will be producing our meals in our busy customer restaurant - including our famous meatballs and hot dishes! If you thrive in a fast-paced and team-focused environment, this role will allow you to experience our wonderful everyday.
  This is the perfect role if you have worked in a busy commercial food/catering role.

• Prior kitchen and catering experience is important. We are also looking for someone who is hands-on and willing to roll up their sleeves.

• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment. You enjoy working in a busy role, where you will be multi-tasking and working to deadlines.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
• Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
• For this role, you are required to be 18 years old or over in line with Health and Safety requirements.

• You will be preparing and making meals using our ovens and kitchen equipment to offer a taste of Sweden to our customers and co-workers.

• The kitchen is a safety-first, fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail for all things safety as well as efficient multi-tasking to ensure IKEA remains a safe place for people to shop, work and have fun.
• Preparing for the next day’s trade, as well as managing waste and working in a sustainable and cost-conscious way.
• Following a cleaning schedule and making sure the cleanliness of the kitchen is to a high standard.
