Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a dedicated and organized Kitchen Shift Leader to join our team at Chick-fil-A 410 & Steeles in Brampton. This full-time, on-site role is crucial for our restaurant’s success, focusing on operational efficiency and a positive team environment.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operations: Lead the kitchen team, manage daily BOH tasks, and ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Team Management: Manage team member performance, shift organization, and staffing needs. You will also effectively train and develop team members and trainers.
  • Quality Control: Ensure team members follow recipes and maintain accuracy with weights and measurements. You will also maintain store cleanliness and conduct food safety and quality audits.
  • General: Perform physical activities like lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute opening and/or closing procedures with precision.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure products and guest experiences are consistent with our brand standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of kitchen supplies and products.
  • Track attendance, schedule changes, and time-off requests for kitchen staff.
  • Assist with conflict resolution and escalate concerns to leadership when needed.
  • Maintain open communication with team members to promote engagement and retention.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members and leaders.
