Reports to the FP&A Analyst. Supports the Executive Chef and the Chef Team with daily BOH operations Collects and distributes recipes and ingredients between outlets Enters and maintains recipes in Eataly’s database software Guides the Chefs on ordering, tracking costs, and completing Interglobo Orders if urgent Maintains order guides, logs, transfer sheets, and SOPs for BOH outlets Oversees monthly inventories: assists Chef Team in counting products, entering data into our systems, analyzing gaps Manages relationships with vendors, assesses credits and shorts, and works with Inventory Control to resolve issues Receives Purchase Orders from other stores and processes orders for shipment Acts as a liaison between all inter-store departments and BOH Performs other duties as required or assigned Qualifications 2+ years experience involving kitchen operations Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, ever-changing work environment Culinary experience in professional kitchens Good knife skills and finger dexterity to use small tools and utensils adeptly Excellent verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge of basic computer programs, i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, etc. Degree from a culinary arts training program preferred REQUIREMENTS: Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting Ability to work with commercial equipment including stand mixers, ovens, torches, etc. Additional Information Benefits and Perks Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave 401K with match or RRSP Bonus program Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine Referral bonus program and more!
