Job Overview:

Our Back of House Team is the backbone of our operation, responsible for preparing, cooking, and ensuring the quality of every dish we serve. Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Assist with the preparation of ingredients, sauces, and garnishes according to recipes and food safety guidelines.
  • Cooking: Grill, fry, sauté, and prepare food to order, ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and temperature.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Follow food safety standards and keep workstations sanitized and clutter-free.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory tracking, receiving deliveries, and ensuring proper storage of food and supplies.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and plating standards to meet restaurant specifications.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure kitchen equipment is in good working condition and report any malfunctions to the Kitchen Manager.
  • Specialty Orders: Accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests when necessary, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or back-of-house role (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform manual tasks
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Passion for high-quality food and excellent customer service

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
