SKILLS

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on cooking and meal preparation.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience in catering services is an advantage but not essential.

• Assist in meal preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organised, and compliant with food safety regulations.
• Support catering operations by preparing dishes for events and functions as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery.
• Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.
• Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
• Uphold cleanliness in the kitchen by following proper sanitation practices.
