A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: * Cleaning and sterilising countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment * Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators * Receiving and organising deliveries to the kitchen * Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing * Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes What we need from you: * Passion for delivering great service * Previous experience in a busy Kitchen is preferable * Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team * The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 23 kg, which can also involve bending and kneeling * The flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, nights and public holidays * Must meet the legal requirements to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions Why Join Us?
