We are looking for a Casual Kitchen Steward to work in our kitchen for a variety of AM/PM shifts. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY * - Cleaning, checking and maintaining of dishwashing machines to a good condition and in continual working order. * - Assist the chefs with preparation and/or general kitchen duties. Work in accordance with the daily production schedule. * - Ensure a constant and sufficient supply of equipment and clean utensils to all outlets at all times. * - Collection of all garbage and maintain the cleanliness of bins and garbage room at all times. * - Complies with all cleaning requirements as per schedule for all kitchen areas & completes kitchen cleaning schedule daily. Compliance with the stewarding cleaning and sanitation guidelines as displayed in our Food Safety Procedures. * - Understanding of the different key roles in the safe application and usage of detergents, sanitisers and disinfectants. This role also requires maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, bins, and the garbage room in compliance with sanitation guidelines.
