The Commissary Kitchen is the central culinary hub for Freehand Hospitality, supporting a dynamic portfolio of restaurants and event spaces across Queen’s Marque. In addition to preparing baked goods and desserts for all Freehand restaurants, the kitchen also collaborates closely with Freehand Catering and the team at Muir Hotel to create seamless, elevated culinary experiences for events of all kinds.
We are looking for a Dishwasher/Receiver. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, washing and organizing dishes and utensils, as well as receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming orders. The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Operating dishwashers efficiently
  • Washing glassware and flatware
  • Polishing all glassware and flatware
  • Cleaning and sanitizing dishwasher mats, dish carts and dish racks
  • Responsible for receiving, stocking and organizing food and supply orders
  • Safely handling and storing cleaning products
  • General dish area maintenance which includes sweeping, mopping, organization and removal of garbage and compost
  • Safely storing food, beverages, and supplies in designated storage areas, following proper rotation (FIFO) and food safety guidelines
  • Assisting kitchen staff with basic prep tasks as needed
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned
