OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a food-loving kitchen person to join our team at Ground Coffee Society in Putney.
Our menu is small but mighty — we’re known for serving some of the best toasties in London, alongside a few well-executed small plates. You’ll be working in our café kitchen, prepping sandwiches and plates to detailed specs. Full training provided.
Cleanliness and hygiene are absolutely essential. You must be confident with food handling, know basic food safety standards, and keep a tidy, well-organised kitchen space at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

• Love food and take pride in presentation
• Confident with food handling and hygiene
• Naturally tidy, hygienic and organised
• Reliable and able to follow instructions
• Happy working solo or as part of a small team
  An in-person interview in Putney SW15 1ET will be required.
  We’re a tight-knit crew that cares about doing things properly. If you’re sharp in the kitchen and serious about high standards, we want to hear from you.

• Minimum 4 days a week, including Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• 8-hour shifts, typically 7:30am – 3:30pm
• Prepping food to spec (mainly toasties and sandwiches)
• General cleaning during quiet times
• Keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and well-organised
