In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth kitchen operations by preparing fresh, high-quality food and baked goods, while helping to create a welcoming, customer-focused café experience. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation: Prepare a variety of breakfast and lunch items, including sandwiches, salads, and baked goods, following café recipes and presentation standards. Daily Operations: Assist with kitchen opening and closing procedures, maintain stocked prep stations, and ensure equipment and ingredients are ready for service. Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with local health regulations. Team Collaboration: Work closely with baristas and kitchen team to ensure timely service and a seamless guest experience. Equipment Use: Operate ovens, mixers, slicers, and other kitchen tools safely and efficiently. Requirements Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or similar food service environment preferred Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and safe food handling practices Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Highly organized with strong attention to detail in preparation and presentation Positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for hospitality Physically able to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, holidays, and occasional events Dependable, punctual, and committed to company standards for time and attendance Why Join Lofty Coffee/Talitha Coffee?
