Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables and marinating meats
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Upsell menu items and provide recommendations to customers
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Time management skills to ensure efficient workflow and timely order delivery
- Knowledge of POS systems for order entry and payment processing is a plus
