And with our own metro station, the rest of the city is within easy reach. Job Description We are seeking a skilled and efficient Kitchen Technician to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Kitchen Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing kitchen equipment to ensure smooth operations in our commercial kitchen facilities. The Kitchen Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and proper functioning of all kitchen equipment throughout the hotel. The role ensures that all kitchen appliances, gas and electric cooking equipment, refrigerators, dishwashers, exhaust systems, and other related machinery are operating efficiently, safely, and in accordance with hotel standards and UAE health and safety regulations. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on various kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and food processors Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with kitchen appliances and systems Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and prevent equipment breakdowns Install new kitchen equipment and ensure proper setup and calibration Implement and maintain safety protocols in the kitchen area Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies for kitchen equipment Coordinate with kitchen staff and management to minimize disruptions during maintenance and repair work Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status Stay updated on the latest kitchen equipment technologies and maintenance techniques Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime in kitchen operations Qualifications Technical diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration Engineering. Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Kitchen Technician or similar role in a hotel or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and systems (gas, steam, electrical). Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams. Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures. Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems and controls. Good communication skills in English Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
