MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the kitchen and bedroom industry
  • Experience with Kitchen and Bedroom CAD packages (Articad or Cabinet Vision) or similar. Ability to freehand sketch designs, an advantage.
  • Ability to lead a design and take creative direction when required.
  • Able to contribute strong creative ideas and unique concepts.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of furniture design.
  • Ability to use one’s initiative as and when required.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to work weekends (3 in 4).
  • Excellent command of the English language (read, write, speak, comprehend).
  • In possession of a valid work permit for ROI
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Own transport.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are a Dublin-based company that manufactures fitted kitchens and bedrooms. We specialize in the commercial and residential market and have been manufacturing for over 40 years. We have 2 showrooms based in Stillorgan and Blanchardstown, catering to all of Dublin and surrounding counties. All of our kitchens and bedrooms are manufactured from our state-of-the-art 40,000 sq. foot premises in Dublin 15.
Due to demand and a busy 2025 ahead, we require an experienced designer and salesperson.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meeting with the client in showrooms
  • Through having a clear understanding of the client’s needs, be able to generate creative designs and solutions that will meet and/or exceed their expectations.
  • The ability to anticipate and inform clients of additional features which may be of use to them.
  • Creating designs that detail the layout and appearance of all work.
  • Suggesting appropriate materials and finishes.
  • Generating accurate quotations on all designs as and when required.
  • Being proactive in following up on all quotations generated.
  • Responsible for resolving any pre-sale and/or post-sale concerns promptly.
  • Maintaining client relationships with existing clients.
  • Ensuring that defined margins and sales targets are achieved.
