POSITION SUMMARY:

Vallen’s Integrated Supply Kitting Technician is an hourly position integrated within a customer’s location and is responsible for assembling all necessary parts, tools, and instructions for a specific repair or maintenance task into a single kit, streamlining the process and reducing downtime. The primary goal of this Kitting role is to ensure that all required items are readily available when a maintenance or repair task needs to be performed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in a supply chain environment or a related field is preferred but not required.
• A desire and ability to learn the kitting processes and inventory management software is essential.
• Strong ability to develop and cultivate customer relationships.
• Must have a mechanical aptitude and demonstrated knowledge of recognizing manufacturing applications.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products (Excel, Word & Power Point) and the technical aptitude to learn all company specific programs and software applications.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are crucial.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary to interact with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and other relevant software is a plus.

OTHER DUTIES:

• Interface with ERP software systems.
• May perform other work/duties as assigned

• Must be able to handle and work physical inventory; required to lift up to 25 lbs. or greater with assistance following standard operating and safety procedures. Other physical requirements including, regularly being required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.
