In large-scale projects, you will apply IT Service Management practices to ensure systems run smoothly and engage in activities that maintain and improve quality. As a Distributed Infrastructure Team (Server Team) Leader, you will: Understand the customer’s current operations and systems. Create handover plans, manage team progress, and provide direction for deliverables. Develop and manage quality control plans. Organize and lead various meetings, and oversee reporting. During the operations phase, act as a system management lead, controlling routine operations and incident response (including serving as a bridge with offshore teams in India). Key Responsibilities Take over BAU (Business-As-Usual) tasks under the leader’s guidance and execute them after handover. Develop transformation plans for each process, coordinate with customers, and carry them out. Implement processes focused on change management and problem management. Analyze root causes and support recovery when issues occur. You may work on the anticipated project, an equivalent project, or both concurrently. Ideal Candidate Demonstrates leadership in guiding teams and driving transformation. Proactively takes on challenges in new areas. Possesses strong communication skills to engage and coordinate across departments. Work Environment A mix of on-site work at customer locations (Tokyo metropolitan area) and remote work from home. The ratio varies depending on project phases or events such as issue resolution.
