POSITION SUMMARY

The KKR Global Institute seeks to hire an individual to join our team at the intersection of geopolitics and investing. The individual will take on a range of responsibilities including geopolitical analysis applied to investment and the development of thought leadership and associated materials for internal and external audiences. A successful candidate will have excellence in short-form written analysis, PowerPoint presentation, and research skills. This role also requires strong analytic abilities, attention to detail, self-driven initiative, and a collaborative approach to the workplace. The ideal candidate will have experience in the study or practice of geopolitics or national security and potentially relevant regional expertise – in particular, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, or Latin America. The position presents an exciting opportunity to engage in analysis and presentation in a stimulating commercial environment. The individual will be based in New York with potential for future mobility.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in geopolitics in the public or private sector
  • Superb writing skills
  • Expertise in relevant regional geopolitics is desirable
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint

$150,000 - $175,000 USD

Responsibilities
  • Develop internal and external thought leadership in collaboration with KKR Global Institute senior leadership.
  • Prepare engaging briefing materials in PowerPoint to communicate research findings effectively.
  • Coordinate with global teams across legal, public policy and affairs, and ESG to align with strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct original research on global trends and geopolitical developments.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
