Klawock Island Ventures is seeking Van Drivers to transport guests while providing engaging narration for the 2025 cruise season. Why Join Us? * $20/hour pay rate * $1,000 contract completion bonus (prorated based on contract completion) * Work in a scenic Alaskan location * Opportunity to share local history and culture with visitors Job Duties: * Transport guests safely to and from Klawock Island Ventures, Hoonah Airport, and other destinations * Provide narration to guests during transport about Klawock Island, local history, and attractions * Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and well-maintained * Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report any necessary maintenance * Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and vendors * Assist guests who need help getting on and off the vehicle * Follow all Alaska driving laws and regulations * Participate in all required training * Other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For: * Must be 21 years of age * Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUI, DWI, negligent, or reckless driving citations) * Knowledge of Alaska roadway laws and regulations * Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion) * First Aid/CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) * Knowledge or willingness to learn about Tlingit culture * Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs Ship Arrival Dates – Choose What Works for You!
