TOTEME is looking for a Knitwear Designer to join our team in Stockholm full-time. In this role you will design knitwear pieces that meet our high quality and craftsmanship standards for pre- and main collections as well as seasonal capsules. You will additionally contribute to our collections by overseeing the jersey and soft accessories categories. You will report to the Design Director and will work closely with the Design, Pattern, Technical, Production, Collection, and Raw Material teams to ensure seamless product execution.

• Design and develop innovative knitwear pieces for pre- and main collections as well as capsules.
• Play a key role in yarn research and selection while applying strong knowledge of knitting techniques, stitching and finishing.
• Communicate and illustrate ideas through sketching, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and draping.
• Create and update technical sketches and packs throughout the design process.
• Maintain a strong awareness of seasonal fabric selections, actively participating in the Fabric-to-Style (FTS) process.
• Be involved in and follow up on fittings for all knitwear styles, ensuring that modifications and changes are effectively communicated to the wider team.
• Provide detailed instructions on construction and finishing for all knitwear styles before the launch of Salesman Samples (SMS).
• Support with and contribute to the preparation of lookbooks and show styling.
• Visit knitwear suppliers and attend industry fairs.
• Participate in and contribute to TOTEME’s social and environmental sustainability strategy.
