THE CANDIDATE:

Required skills/qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in proposals, with 2+ years in a knowledge management role
• Experience with Responsive or similar proposal automation tools
• Understanding of the basics of generative AI/AI tools and how they can drive efficiencies across bid and proposal management processes.
• Bachelor’s degree or high-level qualification in a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Familiarity with APMP best practices.
• Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and change management.
• Self-motivated, quick learner, with a desire to win business through the RFP process.

Preferred skills/qualifications:

• Project Management or Knowledge Management Certification
• Previous experience in the education industry and e-learning technologies

While the full salary range for this role is 79,000-118,500/year, the expected hiring range for this opening is $79,000 –$105,000, depending on experience and budget availability. We use national and industry-specific survey data to assist in determining compensation. Additionally, we consider factors such as external market rate, budget for the role, and the compensation rates of current employees performing the same function. Some roles will have variable pay.

• Define and execute a knowledge management strategy aligned with business goals.
• Develop and maintain a centralized repository of proposal content, templates, boilerplate language, and FAQs.
• Implement and manage knowledge management systems to support proposal development.
• Advocate for continuous improvement in proposal content quality and knowledge workflows
• Capture and convert tacit knowledge from SMEs into reusable assets.
• Monitor usage and effectiveness of knowledge assets using KPIs and analytics.
• Provide training and support to proposal teams on knowledge tools and best practices.
• Communicating and influencing at a mid-level individual contributor capacity
• Coaching subject matter experts in persuasive writing and proposal best practice
