We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Manager to support a critical defence project in Hereford. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective management, organisation, and dissemination of critical information to support operational and strategic decision-making.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in knowledge management, information governance, or document control within defence, government, or a highly regulated sector.
  • Strong understanding of classified information handling and security protocols.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, document management systems, or other knowledge management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively within a fast-paced, high-security environment.
  • Prior experience in a defence or government setting.
  • Knowledge of MoD or military information management practices.
  • Security clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement knowledge management frameworks, ensuring best practices and compliance with security protocols.
  • Maintain structured repositories, ensuring easy access and retrieval of critical documents and data.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including military and government personnel, to enhance information sharing and operational effectiveness.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance knowledge management processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide training and guidance to teams on knowledge management tools and best practices.
