Overview:
SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) Knowledge Manager to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to the identification, maintenance, and management of data, information, and knowledge.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of KM artifacts (e.g., SOPs, KBAs).
  • Establish processes for archiving and removing outdated artifacts and ensuring the prominence of authoritative knowledge.
  • Support planning and lead KM governance and policy development.
  • Direct the identification of knowledge gaps and the incorporation of best practices.
  • Formulate technical assessments and knowledge documentation.
  • Develop technical solutions that foster knowledge discovery, access, and sharing.
  • Develop KM solutions that promote standardization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 14 years’ experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 16 years’ experience.
  • An active Top Secret / SCI security clearance.
  • DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 431 Certs: Security+ or SSCP or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and organize materials for In-Progress Review (IPR) meetings.
  • Experience producing metrics and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Demonstrated history of discretion, independent judgment, and self-direction.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
  • Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700
  • May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
  • It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
