This is an exciting opportunity to work across the NIHR ARC Yorkshire & Humber (YH ARC) and West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (WY ICB) as a Knowledge Mobilisation Fellow.
This role is hosted by Bradford Teaching Hospitals and the successful candidate will work within the Strategy & Transformation team at the WY ICB, and work with the YH ARC and WY ICB leadership teams to engage health and care partners, academics, policy partners, and other key stakeholders across the region. Funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), the postholder will form a bridge between the NIHR YH ARC, WY ICB, academia and the wider West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership . They will capture and communicate the needs of local decision makers in the health and care system and work with the YH ARC to identify existing evidence-based treatments and models of care, and support them into practice, working with practitioners and service users. The post holder will work at strategic level, providing senior level knowledge transfer leadership within the region to support development and delivery of national and local work priorities.
The post holder will manage their own workload and duties across projects which will include stakeholder engagement, developing engaging and effective knowledge mobilisation events and communication resources, project management, and will have experience of leading multi-disciplinary, multi-organisational projects and developing effective and productive working relationships. Excellent project management, organisational and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a passion for research and using evidence to improve outcomes and reduce inequalities.
The post-holder will collaborate with knowledge mobilisation specialists in Humber and North Yorkshire ICB and South Yorkshire ICB and will be expected to travel across the Yorkshire and Humber region.
