We are looking for an experienced Knowledge Officer/Manager, to join our Quality & Risk Team in our Bath, Bristol or Swindon office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about knowledge sharing with previous experience in a similar role and excellent interpersonal skills.

WORKING HOURS & LOCATION:

This is a hybrid role. The successful candidate can be based at our Bath, Bristol or Swindon office. There will also be an opportunities for you to work from our other offices.
It’s a full-time position, 35 hours per week. We will consider applications from candidates looking for part-time positions.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and managing the firm’s strategy for the provision of legal information resources and knowledge management.
  • Managing the provision of legal information resources and providing related guidance and information via the firm’s intranet
  • Managing the Information Resources budget, including liaising with the HoDs, fee-earners and Operations Teams as appropriate.
  • Undertaking research for fee-earners on request and promote legal information sharing and dissemination in the firm.
  • Leading a project on precedent management within the firm and devising and implementing a solution for firm precedents and other internal knowledge held within teams.
  • Managing online resources by reviewing, negotiating with suppliers, maintaining Fee Earner records and data of online usage and training.
  • Managing the provision of limited print resources.
  • Training all Fee Earners and Qualified staff to use the online resources during induction and on request.
