KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER OFFICE Knowledge Transfer Officer (Events and Marketing) (25260804) The Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) serves as the bridge between the University and the community for the transfer of knowledge, expertise, skills and capabilities in campus-wide disciplines. We implement various initiatives to encourage and facilitate knowledge transfer (KT), including but not limited to the protection of intellectual properties of the University, organising activities to engage internal and external stakeholders, encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship activities, and formulate strategies and policies towards the holistic development of the University’s KT. The Office now invites applications for the position below: Position Description The Knowledge Transfer Officer will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategies to transfer knowledge and technology from the research outcomes of the University to our industry partners and other stakeholders. The candidate will work closely with our Marketing Manager to implement various initiatives to encourage and facilitate KT, including but not limited to event/marketing operations, social media management, and administrative support. Responsibilities: * Support the University’s initiatives with main focus in four vibrant research clusters: Creative Media/Practice, Health and Drug Discovery, Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, and Humanities and Cultures through various events and activities in fostering applications of innovations in the global community; * Develop and implement creative, data-driven marketing campaigns across digital and social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, etc.) to increase visibility and engagement for knowledge transfer activities; * Leverage AI tools and analytics to optimise marketing strategies, content creation, and audience targeting; * Prepare regular marketing reports and analyse campaign performance metrics to support data-driven decision making and demonstrate the impact of marketing initiatives; * Ensure high utilisation of the venue and facilities by proactively engaging with faculty members and organising events/programmes to connect different stakeholders in the industry, academia, government, and other stakeholder organisations; * Produce quality marketing materials for print and digital platforms; and * Perform other duties as assigned.  The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours. Requirements: * A recognised bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Creative Arts, Technology, or a related discipline; * At least 3-4 years of post-qualification work experience and demonstrated track record in the field of creative art/technology incubation facility management/event organisation/marketing; * Detailed-oriented and able to work independently in accounting issues is a must;  * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; * Ability to work as part of a team; * Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is preferred; and * Demonstrated experience with social media management, digital marketing, and content creation. Experience utilising AI-powered marketing tools is highly desirable. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.  The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.  Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
