Responsibilities
  • Analyzes and synthesizes data and evidence from multiple sources to inform knowledge translation/mobilization planning and resource development.
  • Works collaboratively with others to co-produce knowledge and facilitate activities toward shared interpretation of a collection of evidence sources within various contexts.
  • Conducts assessment of impact of public health knowledge mobilization processes and tools using appropriate monitoring and evaluation techniques.
  • Directs the development of knowledge translation plans across public health teams at the organization and program level.
  • Creates knowledge translation and mobilization tools such as data visualization, digital shareables, communication plans and strategies, report layouts, and graphic designs that support public health strategic and project goals.
  • Works with subject matter experts and communications teams to design, coordinate, share, and monitor Public Health work and information through various channels and digital platforms (social media, website, newsletters, NSHA updates, partners, etc.).
  • Understanding and ability to incorporate equity, diversity, inclusion, reconciliation and accessibility concepts and principles across public health.
  • Identifies and engages interest groups in development of knowledge mobilization initiatives relevent to Health ADAPT climate change work
