JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled and certified KNX Programmer to join our expanding team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, configuring, and commissioning KNX-based smart home and building automation systems across diverse residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. A valid UAE driving license is essential due to frequent site visits throughout the region.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Certified in KNX programming, with proficiency in ETS5 or ETS6 tools (mandatory).
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in KNX system programming and commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), lighting controls, HVAC integration, and smart automation principles.
  • Familiarity with additional communication protocols such as DALI, Modbus, or BACnet is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory) for site mobility.

Responsibilities
  • Program, test, and commission KNX systems using ETS5/ETS6 software to meet specific project requirements.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, system drawings, and MEP layouts for accurate system implementation.
  • Coordinate on-site with project engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure smooth integration and installation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, communication faults, and integration challenges during setup and post-handover phases.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including configuration files, test reports, and as-built records.
  • Conduct site inspections, support client handovers, and provide after-sales technical assistance when necessary.
