KOA MAINTENANCE CREW - KOA CAMPGROUND POSITION SUMMARY A CAMPGROUND MAINTENANCE WORKER PLAYS A CRUCIAL ROLE IN ENSURING THE FUNCTIONALITY, SAFETY, AND CLEANLINESS OF CAMPGROUND FACILITIES. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Inspecting and maintaining facilities: This includes restrooms, campsites, picnic areas, and trails. * Repairing and maintaining equipment: Such as grills, fire rings, picnic tables, and benches. * Landscaping: Mowing grass, trimming trees and shrubs, and clearing debris. * Safety and compliance: Ensuring all areas comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations. * Operating tools and equipment: Using mowers, trimmers, tractors, and other tools. * Cleaning: Disinfecting restrooms and shower facilities, and removing trash and litter. * Assisting campers: Providing information and directions. * Reporting issues: Notifying the campground manager of major repairs or issues. * Maintaining roads and trails: Ensuring they are safe and accessible * All other duties as assigned The above is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of essential functions for the job described, but rather a general description of some of the responsibilities necessary to carry out the duties of this position. QUALIFICATIONS * Experience in maintenance work: Including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and basic vehicle mechanics. * Physical fitness: Ability to perform demanding tasks and lift heavy objects. * Attention to detail: Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety. * Communication skills: Interacting with campers and reporting issues effectivel Requirements: * Good interpersonal skills required. * Must be reliable (good attendance and punctuality), organized, flexible, and posses excellent time management skills. * Attention to detail and accuracy required. * Must possess a high level of integrity, and ability to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

Maintain the functionality, safety, and cleanliness of campground facilities, including restrooms, campsites, and trails. Perform landscaping duties and repair equipment such as grills and picnic tables while assisting campers.
