The Kongsberg CNC Operator will be responsible for:

• Operating and Maintaining Kongsberg Machines:Setting up, operating, and maintaining Kongsberg cutting tables, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Processing Digital Cut Files:Ensuring digital cut files meet specifications and preparing them for cutting, including adjusting settings and materials.
• Troubleshooting and Reporting:Identifying and reporting any machine malfunctions, ensuring proper maintenance and repair.
• Quality Control and Data Collection:Monitoring quality, cost, and delivery information, updating data collection systems.
• Safety and Maintenance:Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols, and reporting any concerns.
• Stock Management:Maintaining adequate stock levels of blades, router bits, and other consumables, placing orders as needed.
• Providing support for other tasks as required such as kitting, packaging and shipping.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with Kongsberg Machines: Ideally, prior experience with Kongsberg C flatbed cutting tables or similar equipment is beneficial.
• Technical Proficiency: Understanding of CNC machinery, digital cutting processes, and file formats.
• Communication Skills: Ability to interpret written/verbal instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions quickly.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision in setting up and operating machinery.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work with heavy equipment and potentially lift and move materials.
• Safety Awareness: Understanding and adherence to safety procedures and regulations.

Preference will be given to those with previous print shop experience, as Kongsberg or Zund operators.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
