A global automotive parts manufacturer in the Knoxville, Tennessee area is seeking experienced Korean-English Bilingual Injection Molding Engineer - Automotive Parts to support their operations. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of injection molding, plastics, or machine maintenance experience in automotive manufacturing setting, with the ability to provide training, troubleshooting, and process support to improve quality across company locations.

REQUIREMENTS -KOREAN-ENGLISH BILINGUAL INJECTION MOLDING ENGINEER - AUTOMOTIVE PARTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in injection molding operations, preferably in an automotive or lean manufacturing environment
• Business-level in Korean and English language proficiency
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and prior experience in a supervisory or training/mentoring role

• Support various injection molding projects, including process development, equipment and materials selection, and training methods for technician.
• Travel to other company locations to assist with process development, mold design, material specifications, and provide training to operators and technicians (~50% travel–two weeks on location at home facility, followed by two weeks traveling regionally to provide support at other locations)
• Provide technical support for new and ongoing projects, collaborating cross-functionally with sales and equipment teams on tooling, materials, and process
• Train newer injection molding and/or maintenance technicians (depending on candidate’s area of expertise)
• Implement and support various injection molding quality improvement projects, process development, and training methods for technicians
• Develop robust technical training requirements for process technicians, including multiple skill levels and associated compensation
• Enhance production capabilities and product quality, with an eye towards continuous improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned
