REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience using Kotlin and/or Java 8+ to develop web applications
  • You enjoy explaining things, discussions and knowledge sharing
  • Experience using CI/CD, version control, and unit testing
  • Knowledge or experience of one or more of the following:Spring Boot, REST, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, GitLab, PostgreSQL, OIDC, SAML, QA, AWS/GCP, Angular, Linux, SCRUM/Kanban
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Responsibilities

Signicat has an opportunity for a talented Java or Kotlin Developer to join our Authentication Broker team based in Rotterdam.
As part of the team, you will contribute to our own SaaS applications with which we reach millions of end users. Our code is mission-critical for many of our high-profile customers, who use our platform to authenticate the end users of their services. You will learn how to create architectures that are inherently secure, becoming an expert in secure programming.

  • Get training and guidance to become an expert at writing secure software
  • Analyse functional requirements and turn them into real software
  • Assist in designing and improving our software architecture
  • Build and maintain a catalogue of reusable, elegant solution patterns
  • Build and maintain a library of reusable, elegant software components
  • Improve standards and guidelines for using these patterns and components
  • We work agile, so take part in daily stand-ups and discuss safety features with the product owner
  • Be responsible for the whole lifecycle of our applications including deployments and DevOps
