JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a hard-working Kitchen Porter (KP) to join our friendly team at Pentewan Sands Holiday Park! Based next to the beach, you’ll be working with our team all year round to provide a 5-star service, both during the holiday park’s open and closed seasons. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain useful experience and expand their skills in a working kitchen environment. Your key responsibilities will be supporting the kitchen team and ensuring that all areas are kept in pristine condition.

SKILLS

• No experience needed, all training will be given
• Previous kitchen experience is advantageous
• Strong organisational skills and timekeeping
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• A passion for hospitality and culinary work
  The hourly rate is £12.75 with a share of tips. Hours will be variable to the needs of the business and will exclude split shifts. Holiday pay based on 28 days per year. Pension Enrolment included.

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, adhering to our 5-star food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work surfaces
• Washing up and disposing of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Assist with inventory management by reporting shortages to supervisors
• Collaborate effectively with team members to create a positive working environment
