• have at least 1-2 years experience in companies that specialise in software development or consultancy which focus strongly on technological innovation;
• are familiar with Java Enterprise concepts, particularly J2EE Application and JMS, and have a basic understanding of C# and of .NET frameworks;
• have acquired a detailed understanding of company processes;
• are capable of quickly identifying and resolving technical and functional issues within complex software environments, using effective troubleshooting methodologies and coordinating with other vendors in the event of an emergency procedure;
• have a solid understanding of PLC operations or experience in communicating with OPC UA servers and repository tools (e.g., Git or similar);
• are proficient in English, preferably with study/work experience abroad;
• have a diploma or degree, bachelor’s or master’s, in technical/scientific subjects.

The following attributes are preferential but not necessary:

• experience in integrating other systems and languages, SOA architectures, development and use of ESB;
• experience in using integration systems e.g., SAP MII or Talend or Node-Red;
• knowledge of ABAP/SAP ECC;
• experience in microservices-based architectures, development on AWS/Azure cloud services, SAP Cloud platforms;
• knowledge of Agile methodologies.

When you join the AMS MES team you will be working on ensuring the success of digital changes relating to Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing. You will be working in close contact with expert colleagues in the implementation of advanced digital solutions, ensuring the systems’ operating efficiency and effectively supporting the business processes, with particular focus on the latest software technologies applied to the production.

Specifically, you will be tasked with:

• supporting users by answering “How to” questions over the phone or via tickets and explaining how to manually correct any incorrect inputs;
• resolving minor system issues using the emergency procedure when necessary;
• analysing complex issues related to the production process;
• implementing service requests, e.g., system changes, training sessions, bulk data uploads/modifications;
• implementing JAVA EE systems and architectures, as well as frontend/web standards and frameworks for SAP? (e.g., SapUI 5, AngularJS);
• making queries with various DBMS;
• updating documentation for the above-mentioned cases.
