Credit Analyst/ Financial Statement Analyst Back Office (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • You are responsible for independently analyzing and assessing the financial situation of our customers in both new and existing bank business. This includes conducting balance sheet, annual financial statement, and creditworthiness analyses.
  • Your responsibilities also include the future-oriented assessment of corporate risks and potentials, including sensitivity and scenario analyses, and form an important basis for credit decisions.
  • You process credit ratings, conduct creditworthiness assessments, and take on tasks related to early risk detection. You also obtain further information as needed.
  • You will contribute to fulfilling the requirements of Section 18 of the German Banking Act (KWG).
  • You will work closely with our credit officers and, as a competent contact person, support the sales team with credit-related questions.
  • You participate in subject-specific projects on an ad-hoc basis.

Your profile

  • You have completed banking training or a comparable qualification, for example as a certified accountant, tax clerk or from the field of auditing.
  • Further qualifications, e.g., bank specialist, bank business administrator or economics studies, are advantageous.
  • Ideally, you have professional experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, balance sheet analysis or creditworthiness assessment.
  • You have sound knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) accounting standard and experience in analyzing financial statements.
  • You are proficient in using Microsoft Office. Experience with Agree-BAP is a plus, as is an openness to new software tools.
  • You are characterized by a high degree of goal orientation, flexibility and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • You value independent and solution-oriented work within a motivated team and possess a high level of performance motivation, a structured way of working, analytical skills, a strong awareness of risks, and a high affinity for numbers.
  • You possess confident and collaborative communication skills, high social competence, and excellent written expression.
